Brief Description

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct an open competitive examination for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) in Delhi Police. This is a Group 'C' post for which candidates from all parts of the country are eligible to apply. The selection process includes a Computer Based Examination, Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests (PE&MT), a Typing Test, and a Computer Formatting Test.

Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Professional Attainments

  • Speed in English Typing: 30 words per minute. OR
  • Speed in Hindi Typing: 25 words per minute.

  • Computer (Formatting) Test: Qualifying in nature. Tests proficiency in MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Excel.
